So easily we think we are better than others when we look at their circumstances, their sins, the things they are caught up in… when we look at their past or their circumstances.
The truth is, we aren’t… not at all. We are all loved equally by God. We ALL need His forgiveness and His grace. Instead of thinking we are better we must start thanking God that we are fortunate enough to have had the wisdom to make the better choices, or to have grown up in those circumstances that we did. Where would we have been if we had the life they had? We should thank God that we had the privilege or the guidance to know better. It is only by His grace, and not because of something we did.
We must be grateful for parents or grandparents that prayed for us, for someone that God sent on our path to pray for us or to guide us. Friends or circumstances that crossed our path to open our eyes to the Truth.
Instead of judging others when they are lost and involved in wrong things, let’s be THAT person for someone else. The one who loves unconditionally, who teaches them about forgiveness and let’s be that person who prays for them and who doesn’t give up on them.
Jesus came for the lost and we should follow in His footsteps.
