Someone from church messaged me and asked if we could meet for coffee this week. I confirmed a time and just after that, realized that I already have another appointment. I then messaged the other friend and asked if we could move it to the next day and she replied saying that she wanted to ask me the same thing. Wow - God always creates a way – obviously it is His divine appointment and there is a reason I forgot about my prior date.
I don’t even know what the coffee is about, but I am so excited! I just want to sing and worship God. I switched on my iPod and the song that started playing is “You are good”. The lyrics was so on point!!
“And I’ll sing because you are good, And I’ll dance because you are good And I’ll shout because you are good. With a cry of praise, my heart will proclaim, you are good”
That is exactly how I was feeling. Clearly my spirit knew something I didn’t. I wanted to jump up and down – and I did – it was the perfect song for how I was feeling.
Thank You Father that my heart can celebrate, because You are good. Thank You that I can be overwhelmingly excited, because You know what the future holds – I don’t need to. Thank You that Your plans for us are always good - better and bigger than we can ask for. Thank You that we can be excited about the future, trusting in You! Amen
